What's Hot, What's Not
This is a monthly updated column that indicates what's hot and what's not in the media industry in my eyes at the moment. This varies from video games to a music group to a certain CD that is either very very good or should be steered clear of no matter what.
What's Hot-- Bonkers - Dizzee Rascal (Dooley Remix) [Track]
Bonkers has been played all over the place over the past couple of months but this gem of a track is not even available for download anywhere (trust me I've looked!). Dubstep is a relatively unknown music genre boasting outrageous bass and an almost hip hop drum beat. This remix, however, is possibly the best remix I've heard of Bonkers and many people have ripped this track from Youtube (which I don't really recommend) and have played it in their DJ sets. You can check out this bombshell of a remix HERE
What's Not-- La Roux - La Roux [Album]
The new album by La Roux, the group responsible for the impressive mix of 'In for the kill' deliver a mediocre, if not arguably awful album with no stand-out tracks and a quick way to make some money off the back of their impressive debut song. Review will be up shortly!
